The course provides thorough instruction on the most used lifting devices in the industry.. Types of lift covered consist of boom supported, scissor and articulating aerial lifts. The video presents the right techniques operators must follow. Instruction focuses on protection against falls, pre-operational inspection, stability of the device and safe driving procedures.

The self-propelled boom-supported elevating work platforms are different from the self-propelled elevating work platforms in that they are able to position their work platforms totally beyond the base of the machine.
