Pneumatic jacks are known as pallet trucks or pump trucks and are widely utilized in warehouses and transport facilities to transfer resources on pallets. Pneumatic lifts include a pair of metallic forks installed on a wheeled counterbalance that has a pump. The pump is used to lift and lower the blades.
Visually check the pallet truck prior to loading. Make sure the wheels are clear of any likely obstructions. In addition, make sure the handle moves easily and turns properly. Inspect the pallet before moving it to determine if it is stacked in a manner that minimizes the chance of anything falling off during lifting. Discharge any air in the pump and let down the forks to the ground by squeezing the handle mounted on the inside of the steel ring on the end of the handle. Slide the forks into the slots in the pallet and ensure the blades are centered so that the pallets’ mass is evenly distributed.
By pumping the pneumatic jack lever the blades will rise from the floor. Once there is full clearance, you can discontinue pumping as there is no need to raise the lift anymore. To move the pallet jack, you may lug the handle behind you. It is not recommended to push the pallet vehicle. There will be a large amount of momentum existing. Avoid quick or sharp turns and don't stop too swiftly. Gently bring the pallet to a rest where you would like to park it. Squeeze the handle within the grip end to restore the blades to the floor. Extract the blades from the pallet and return the pallet lift to its chosen parking spot.
